Ashcatchers are a great way to not only keep your bong clean but to also diffuse your smoke. This Nucleus 45 degree ashcatcher features a barrel perc that has slits on both ends. This ashcather is available for both 14mm and 18mm female joints.
Not Sure What Joint Size You Need?
To determine the joint size you need simply measure the slide joint opening with a metric ruler. The slide joint opening is the hole near the base of the water pipe where the downstem reaches into the water. The measurement will be either 14mm or 19mm (or, for small water pipes, 10mm).
Not Sure Which Joint Angle You Need?
Whether you buy the 45 degree or the 90 degree option depends on the angle of the downstem of the piece you are looking to add to. The 90 degree is for stemless water pipes where the joint is pointed vertical. The 45 degree option is for pieces where the downstem comes out an angle.
