An ash catcher is an additional piece of glass that attaches to a water pipe or bong to act as a barrier to ash and to create an additional layer of diffusion of the smoke. All the ash that would normally fall into your bong instead falls into the ash catcher, which can be easily removed and cleaned, saving you the trouble of having to clean your entire pipe.

Ash catchers can also provide a change in joint size or gender, can have the addition of a reclaimer for your concentrates, and can act as a sidecar or drop down when using a nail, ensuring that your piece isn’t exposed as directly to torch flame.
We offer a wide selection of glass ashcatchers from a variety of brands (and some made by smaller glass artists). It is important to know the joint size of your water pipe when buying an ash catcher (or a bowl or downstem, for that matter) because it needs to match (and be of the opposite gender). We have ashcatchers in 10mm, 14mm and 18mm sizes.
We also offer than two different joint angles—either 45 degrees or 90 degrees. Whether you buy the 45 degree or the 90 degree option depends on the angle of the downstem of the piece you are looking to add to. The 90 degree is for stemless water pipes where the joint is pointed vertical. The 45 degree option is for pieces where the downstem comes out an angle.
In addition to ashcatchers we offer a variety of reclaimers in this collection. Reclaimers are akin to ash catchers in that they both replace the stock bowl that comes with your bong, adding additional features. But reclaimers are typically used with dab rigs as their purpose is to reclaim any concentrate or wax that drips off the dabbing nail or banger. Reclaimers prevent waste and preserve the concentrates, to be saved for another session.
