We have been singing the praises of the Firefly 2 vaporizer since it launched. But it's always get to get outside affirmation. And the folks over at Geek.com seem to love this vape, which can be used with both dry herbs and waxes/concentrates.
They like it because it is both elegant and simple (there are only two buttons to push). The Firefly 2 is visually stunning, to be sure. But, more importantly, it just works well. Really, really well. Some of this has to do with the fact that is it a conduction vape, which means the material is not heated directly (the hot air moves AROUND the dry herb or wax). It also produces flavorful and cool vapors. According to the review:
As things heat up, you’d suspect that the Firefly would scorch the lungs, but that’s where another clever facet of the design comes into play. The Firefly cools vapor by passing it over a large (relatively speaking) glass plate. That allows the vapor to dissipate heat, dramatically dropping in temperature before it hits the sensitive tissue of your precious abdominal internal air sacs. Not only is that just a cool, geeky way to solve the problem, but it makes the assembly super easy to clean.
They gave it 4 out of 4 stars. And, we have to say, we agree. It's one of the best vapes on the market today, and it's one of our best sellers. The Firefly 2 is available at SmokeSmithGear.com for $330. Shipping is free.
