Can Smoking Make You A Better Athlete?

Yes. Or, at least a number of former NBA stars think so, including legendary coach Phil Jackson and former Detroit Piston Chauncy Billups. Billups, appearing on NBA Countdown, said that he played better after smoking. Billups, Tracy McGrady and Jalen Rose agreed that the NBA should relax its policies with regard to marijuana usage, especially in light of the medical benefits of marijuana. We couldn't agree more (and we say that as a couple of guys who grew up in Detroit watching the Bad Boys dominate the league).
